Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will help patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges receive compassionate, evidence-based care so they can achieve stability, healing, and improved well-being.
Every day you will assess, monitor, and support patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs across a variety of settings. You will be expected to provide therapeutic nursing interventions, administer medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, de-escalate crisis situations, and advocate for patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication and de-escalation skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
- Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
- Establishes presence of consent prior to treatment/procedures.
$5,000 Sign on for eligible new hires with at least 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3-5 years.

- A minimum of six (6) months recent experiencein an Psychiatric and/or ChemicalDependency Nursing Acute Care Facility
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
