Job Description:
Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as ambulatory supervisor for our orthopedic surgery and podiatry clinics at our 32nd Avenue building in Fargo, North Dakota. This RN generally works 40 hours a week in a salaried position. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are generally not required.

Education Qualifications:
  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.


What You'll Do:

Provides oversight of the daily operations of multiple assigned departments and sites, including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may intermittently perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient's health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family's self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
  • Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
