Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Florida required
• Preferred experience in behavioral health or inpatient settings
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Leadership skills essential for staff guidance and crisis response

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including admission, shift, and discharge evaluations
• Monitor patient status and intervene in response to condition changes
• Administer medications and execute physician orders with accuracy
• Develop and maintain nursing care plans, contributing to treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Provide leadership support during shifts and in crisis situations
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Educate and support patients and their families with compassionate communication
