Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Risk Management Nursing Manager (RN) in Amarillo, TX.
Responsibilities
- The clinical risk manager serves as a liaison between all departments and risk management to assist in the prevention and investigation of risk related events.
- The clinical risk manager is a registered nurse who has extensive nursing background and excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in direct patient care.
- Quality Improvement and/or Healthcare Risk Management.
- Successful completion of an approved 2 or 4 year nursing degree program.
- Basic computer skills to include Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Excel
