Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent required; 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Capable of physical tasks: lifting up to 50 pounds and operating pallet jacks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work for 8-10 hours per day, including sitting, standing, bending, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Manager(s) and supervisors to meet or exceed operational goals.
• Promote a safety culture through exemplary leadership.
• Ensure accountability for sanitation and food safety practices among the team.
• Utilize system tools and spreadsheets for data analysis and labor planning.
• Monitor operational health using key system tools.
• Hold the team accountable for budget adherence on labor and expenses.
• Balance daily operations between Shipping and Receiving expectations.
• Foster employee engagement and provide performance feedback across all supervisory levels.
• Model conflict resolution, problem-solving, and self-development for team leadership.
• Conduct periodic meetings with hourly employees and supervisors to align goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments on operational deliverables.
• Identify and celebrate achievable goals that enhance key metrics.
