Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an early-career RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. We offer an excellent working environment with a mix of cutting edge design and genuine hands on electronics laboratory testing and product development. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with and learn from some of our top industry leading RF and microwave design professionals. What You Will Be Doing

The RF / microwave engineer will support the manufacturing of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications. The engineer will be responsible for analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits and frequency conversion circuits.

The engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing operation to resolve assembly and test issues. The engineer will learn from and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.

The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire's White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants.

Basic Qualifications
• 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in RF / Microwave engineering.
• Experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits.
• Knowledge of RF/ microwave test equipment is required, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers.
• Expertise with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is required.
• Candidate must have an interim secret security clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Desired skills
• Professional experience in the aerospace/defense industry is desired.
• Professional experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Demonstrated academic achievement in the field of RF is desired.
• Familiarity with RF / microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools is desired.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are desired.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• An active Secret Clearance is desired.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $95,300 - $165,255. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
