This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Who We Are

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking an RF/Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the management and testing of various Department of War (DOW) capabilities in Albuquerque, NM. Qualified applicants will have a background in RF/Network support to military operations, knowledge of Base Defense strategies, and the ability to support the assessment of novel technologies to these applications.

What You Will Do

  • Design and generate RF and computer-based network systems
  • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
  • Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
  • Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, as well as all aspects of test execution
  • Direct and perform continuous testing, integration, and verification of RF/Cyber systems across multiple lab facilities, utilizing cross-functional capabilities in algorithms, software, hardware, and network protocols
  • Support technical publications in developing for customer releases test planning, test procedures, and test reports
  • Support technical and functional leadership through the identification of risk
  • Manage Government furnished equipment for contractor staff
  • Support test analysts in operational readiness activities


What We Are Looking For

  • 9 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 7 years relevant experience with master's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • RF experience with either Radar or Electronic Warfare System design and/or testing, AND capability to design complex computer network solutions in uncommon environment settings
  • Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required
  • Willing to travel for extended periods of time. Deployment times will vary and typically last between two and three weeks
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Skilled trainer and willingness to pass on all knowledge preferred
  • VMware certification preferred
  • CISCO certifications preferred
  • Smartsheet experience
  • Familiarity with various software defined radios, spectrum analyzers, and other RF lab equipment
