Full Job Description
The Reverse Logistics Operations Manager leads device repair, refurbishment, testing, triage, and fulfillment operations within a high-volume manufacturing and reverse logistics environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across Device Care Center activities, ensuring performance against production targets, quality standards, customer requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs). Reporting through operations leadership, this individual will lead supervisors and frontline teams while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee development, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will leverage Lean methodologies, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize throughput, improve quality, reduce costs, and deliver exceptional business results. This is a highly visible leadership role ideal for an experienced operations professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys developing high-performing teams, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement.

This is an onsite role in our Mt Juliet TN facility.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
  • Operational Leadership
    • Lead and develop supervisors and production teams responsible for mobile device repair, refurbishment, testing, triage, and fulfillment operations
    • Drive daily production planning, prioritization, and execution to achieve operational goals, KPIs, and SLAs
    • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and customer satisfaction
    • Maintain seamless operational flow through effective communication across teams, departments, and shifts
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
    • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow
    • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, inventory control, and labor utilization
    • Drive line balancing, work-in-process (WIP) reduction, and operational standardization
    • Utilize reporting tools and operational data to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and support strategic decision making
  • People Leadership & Development
    • Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams through training, mentoring, performance management, and ongoing feedback
    • Partner with supervisors to effectively manage staffing, engagement, performance reviews, workforce planning, and employee development
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous learning
    • Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
  • Quality, Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards, operational procedures, and customer requirements
    • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations
    • Support and uphold company policies, operational excellence standards, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Financial & Business Performance
    • Manage departmental budgets and operating expenses while meeting productivity and financial targets
    • Drive cost control initiatives and maximize operational efficiency within established business guidelines
    • Partner with senior leadership to establish and execute departmental objectives and strategic priorities


What are the requirements needed for this position?
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, assembly, reverse logistics, or related operational environments
  • 5+ years of experience leading supervisors and managing frontline operations teams
  • Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Experience managing an hourly workforce in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment


What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Experience in wireless device repair, electronics manufacturing, OEM operations, or mobile device processing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, R2, or similar quality certifications
  • Familiarity with repair technologies, barcode scanning systems, and production tracking tools
  • 10+ years of operations or production leadership experience


Pay Range:
$74,600.00 - $124,700.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
