Full Job Description
The PEO Retirement Plan Consultant (RPC) is aligned with the PEO market's largest client and responsible for independently communicating and shepherding tasks associated with supporting new adopter sales and onboarding new adopters in partnership with the plan, their sales force, and their adopters.

What you will do
  • Support adopters in the selection of various plan design options to fit their unique needs, both at installation and ongoing
  • Help adopters collect prior plan documents necessary to establish a new plan, discussing existing plan provisions such as safe harbor and matching contributions, helping them understand available plan provisions and working to understand their business structure and ownership arrangement
  • Provide consultation to existing adopting employers to help them amend their plan based on changes in their business
  • Prepare and discuss plan design illustrations and pricing comparisons
  • Support the participant enrollment process for the new adopter
  • Build trusted relationships with key plan professionals
  • Drive seamless new adopter sales towards annual goals
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the plan, its pricing and investment offering and a proficiency at positioning the solutions competitively
  • Collaborate and partner with the Relationship and Client Service Management teams to support the retention and growth of the customer


What you will bring
  • 5+ years of experience in retirement plan market with either account management, plan design consultation or an internal sales consultant background preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations skills, building partnerships internally and externally including plan sponsors, consultants, and business leaders
  • Understanding of retirement plan pricing
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses required within established timelines

Base Salary Range
$72,200.00 - $101,975.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
