Full Job Description
Retail Lending Product Management supports the development, execution, and ongoing management of the bank's consumer and small business lending products. The team partners closely with executive leadership, sales, credit risk, operations, technology, finance, compliance, and marketing to help deliver lending solutions that align with the bank's strategic direction and growth objectives. Product Managers help evaluate market trends, portfolio performance, customer needs, pricing, policy enhancements, and process improvements while supporting the successful implementation of new initiatives and product changes.

A Retail Lending Product Manager is responsible for helping manage and enhance a portfolio of lending products, including consumer, small business, SBA, unsecured, and real estate-secured lending solutions. The role serves as a cross-functional partner and subject matter expert, helping coordinate initiatives from concept through implementation while balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Successful candidates are collaborative, analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities within a large banking organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of assigned products to maximize product potential and profitability
  • Conducts product research and profitability analysis.
  • Makes recommendations regarding product features, design and pricing strategy to appropriate approval committees.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to bring the product to market.
  • Develops and executes launch strategies, communication plans and ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluates product results and makes product modifications as needed.
  • Owns the full lifecycle and profit and loss of assigned products.


Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelors in business, information systems or related field
  • 4 - 6+ years experience in product management, product analysis, design and development or other directly related experience.
  • Employs advanced knowledge as an industry specialist of product management techniques, practices, analysis and design.
  • Advanced knowledge of technology used to support products and services.
  • Solid knowledge of internal procedures for product research development and approval.
  • Must have good judgment and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analysis and resolve problems.
  • Solid customer relation skills.
