Full Job Description
We are seeking a Director to join our RTS Value Creation team. This role leads operationally focused value creation initiatives for both underperforming and healthy businesses, with direct accountability for EBITDA and cash flow impact. Directors are expected to move quickly from assessment to execution, working alongside management teams to deliver measurable results.

Who You Are:
  • Required Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience in value creation, financial and/or operational consulting, or performance improvement
    • Proven track record leading EBITDA and cash flow improvement initiatives
    • Demonstrated ability to move from diagnostic to detailed design, execution, and measurement of improvement initiatives
    • Deep operational finance expertise, including P&L management, working capital optimization, inventory management, and cost structure redesign
    • Experience identifying and executing value creation opportunities in partnership with Private Equity sponsors
    • Experience leading cross-functional operational initiatives across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and commercial functions
    • Ability to operate effectively in time-sensitive, high-intensity environments
    • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience conducting or supporting Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses and translating findings into operational value creation plans
    • Experience in shop floor or plant-level environments with the ability to engage credibly with operations leadership
    • Background as an operator (e.g., interim leadership or line management)
    • Experience in industrials, manufacturing, distribution, or business services sectors
    • MBA or advanced degree
    • Familiarity with leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance financial analysis, operational insights, and decision-making

What You'll Do:
  • Lead operational and financial diagnostics to identify key performance drivers, including detailed financial and variance analysis
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize EBITDA and cash flow improvement opportunities
  • Develop actionable, bottom-up improvement plans with clear KPIs and milestones
  • Drive implementation of cost optimization and performance initiatives with full ownership through execution
  • Partner with executive leadership, Boards, lenders, and Private Equity sponsors to align on value creation plans
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across:
    • COGS and SG&A optimization, including analysis of standard vs. actual costs and bills of material
    • Manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement improvement
    • Customer, product, and SKU profitability
    • Pricing and commercial effectiveness
    • Working capital optimization and cash management
  • Translate financial and operational insights into actionable strategies and execution plans that drive measurable value
  • Manage and mentor engagement teams while ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Support business development efforts and sponsor communications
