Restorative Nurse

Alden Estates of Jefferson, a renowned post-acute care facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Nurse to join our team! As a Restorative Nurse, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and supervising our restorative nursing program, promoting a restorative nursing philosophy among all facility departments, and ensuring participants achieve their highest level of function.

About the Role:

As a Restorative Nurse, you will be responsible for:
  • Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing restorative care services, programs, and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
  • Setting up documentation flow sheets and electronic medical record systems for daily documentation of restorative nursing measures
  • Overseeing all restorative nursing measures are reflected on the care plan
  • Performing or overseeing functional assessments on admission and quarterly as indicated, consulting with nurses in making recommendations for restorative plan of care, and working with nurses in developing restorative plan of care
  • Overseeing ADL performance on units, overseeing C.N.A.'s documentation on ADL's, and overseeing incontinent management programs
  • Actively participating or overseeing physical restraint reduction programs and fall management programs

Requirements:
