Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days/Nights, collaborative scheduling within the department
Pay Range: $38.00 - $48.00 (based on experience)

Required Job Specific Competencies:
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology in all areas that pertain to the practice of respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:- Performs basic and advanced respiratory care procedures - 90%
- Performs all modalities in a timely fashion and according to policy and procedure.
- Cleans, processes, and troubleshoots equipment.
- Performs patient assessments & recommends changes to therapy from evidence based findings.
- Responds courteously & quickly to calls for service from internal & external customers.
- Responds quickly & in accordance with policy & procedure for all "Code" calls within the healthcare system.
- Communicates care needs clearly &effectively to coworkers and other members of the healthcare team.
- Accurately records all productivity
- Documents all patient interventions in Epic or using downtime process
- Documents appropriately in supporting records such as the EMAR.
- Performs complete & correct billing entry to ensure accurate representation of services performed for billing purposed.

- Maintains health/education records and skills as required by licensure and healthcare system requirements. - 5%
Qualifications:- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Licensed or has valid Permit as a Respiratory Therapist by New York State Education Department Office of the Professions (NYSED OP) website
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required within three (3) months of start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required within one (1) year of start date
- Graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program - Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Bachelor of Science (BS) required
- Current Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
- New graduates may be hired into a Respiratory Therapist position pending determination by the director.
