Matheny has a career opportunity available for a Full Time Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. The shift time is 7pm-7am.

Qualified candidates who are hired for Full Time employment will receive a Signing Bonus of $3,000.00. ($1,500.00 payable after completion of three months of continuous employment and the remaining $1,500.00 after completion of six months of continuous employment).

Duties of this position include:

• Performs patient-focused Respiratory Therapy services.
• Participates in Code Blue team drills and evaluations.
• Provides education and staff training.
• Provides oversight for environmental safety and equipment management.
• Complies with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics.

The hourly rate for this position is $39.50 - $46.00 per hour.

Position Requirements

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current CPR Healthcare Certification required.(BLS and AED)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.(ACLS)
• National Board of Respiratory certification required.
