Resource Support Analyst

The Opportunity:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Army intelligence customer's resources can make the most impact. 

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy and review reports from financial enterprise systems and training resources to help our customer succeed. You’ll work with program managers, action officers, resource managers, and stakeholders to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. 

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. You'll provide support in the preparation, review, analysis, coordination, and maintenance of documentation and associated databases used in relevant resource management systems. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication across the organization. This is your chance to work on high-level planning, programming, budgeting, and execution for current and future year planning and development in support of Pacific intelligence operations while imparting your expertise to the team.

You Have: 

  • Experience providing financial analytical support, travel-related responsibilities, and training reporting in a DoD, Army, Service Component Command, Combatant Command, or Joint environment
  • Experience using Army financial systems, including General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Defense Travel System (DTS), cProbe, Citi Manager, City Pair, and G-Invoicing
  • Experience reviewing and managing Government Travel Cards (GTC), Government Purchase Cards (GPC), and training requests
  • Experience analyzing financial, budgeting, proprietary, and accounting functions, including current-year budget execution reporting and tracking and prior-year execution reporting review
  • Experience with Resource Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), including current- and future-year planning and the development of resource-supported programs
    Knowledge of financial policies and related operational procedures
  • Ability to communicate and present clear, concise, and timely information both written and verbally with senior-level staff
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience as a Resource Manager, Budget Analyst, or Financial Management Analyst at the Army, Service Component Command, Combatant Command, or Joint level
  • Experience reviewing procurement requests, MIPRs, UFRs, and organizational agreements and recommending corrective or updated actions
  • Experiencedeveloping financial operational guidance to improve and enhance processes
  • Knowledge of FOUNDRY training requirements and reporting
    Knowledge ofForeign Language Training requirements and reporting

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
