Job Description

We're looking for LVN Resource Leads who are excited to support both exceptional patient care and the day-to-day operations of a busy clinical service line. In this role, you'll provide direct and indirect patient care while helping coordinate clinical workflows, support staff, and ensure smooth department operations. You'll collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager to identify solutions, maintain quality standards, and foster a positive environment for both patients and team members. We value leadership, adaptability, excellent communication, and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care as a member of the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate the daily flow and function of the assigned clinical service line.
  • Communicate routinely with the Clinical Manager regarding operational issues and assist with problem-solving.
  • Assist with staff scheduling to meet changing patient care and workload needs.
  • Coordinate the activities of ancillary non-licensed staff.
  • Participate in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff.
  • Procure supplies and equipment necessary for daily patient care operations.
  • Provide professional and technical support to staff while troubleshooting patient care delivery.
  • Respond to patient and family concerns regarding patient care.
  • Identify staff training needs and assist with employee development.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, education, and training programs.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and policies.
  • Recommend new or revised departmental policies and procedures to the Clinical Manager.

This role involves working closely with our clinical team to deliver patient-focused services while supporting daily operations, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives. You'll play an important leadership role in fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
  • Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
  • Minimum of two years of medical office experience preferred.
  • One year of Resource Lead experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing patient care needs while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Ability to maintain goal-directed behavior during emergency situations.
  • Understanding of aseptic technique and sterilization principles.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in directing patient care activities.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills with patients, coworkers, and the public.
