Residential Service Electrician

We're looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians who can independently run service calls, diagnose electrical issues, complete quality repairs and installations, communicate confidently with homeowners, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

This is a customer-facing residential service and sales role. Our electricians don't just fix electrical problems-they build trust, educate homeowners, present options, and help customers make informed decisions about the safety, reliability, and performance of their home's electrical system.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll independently run residential service calls and help homeowners keep their electrical systems safe, reliable, and operating properly.

You will:

• Independently run residential electrical service calls from start to finish
• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues
• Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Service and install electrical panels, breakers, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, surge protection, and other residential electrical systems
• Identify electrical safety concerns and recommend appropriate solutions
• Perform thorough evaluations of residential electrical systems when appropriate
• Clearly explain findings and electrical concerns to homeowners
• Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options based on the customer's needs
• Educate homeowners so they can make informed decisions about their electrical systems
• Be comfortable with sales and confidently recommend appropriate electrical solutions without relying on high-pressure tactics
• Identify opportunities to improve electrical safety, reliability, efficiency, and overall system performance
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers
• Complete work according to applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards
• Complete accurate documentation using ServiceTitan
• Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
• Protect customers' homes and property while performing work
• Represent the Mister Sparky brand with professionalism, honesty, integrity, and pride

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have:

• 2+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience
• Experience independently running residential electrical service calls
• Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with residential electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and industry best practices
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety requirements
• Ability to identify electrical safety concerns and recommend appropriate solutions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with homeowners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain electrical issues, solutions, and recommendations
• Comfort with sales, presenting service options, and recommending repairs, replacements, and upgrades based on customer needs
• Ability to educate customers without relying on high-pressure sales tactics
• Ability to meet performance goals and KPIs while maintaining a customer-first approach
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to quality workmanship, professionalism, and integrity
• Ability to manage your time and independently run your daily service calls
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Motivation to continuously learn, improve, and grow within the electrical trade
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening
