steveworks is a worker owned, design build, residential remodeling company. We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team. The Site Supervisor is the point person between the client, the design team, and the field crew on the jobsite, including subcontractors. The role of the Site Supervisor is to oversee all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Although the Site Supervisor is not expected to wear a toolbelt, they need to have the technical competency and the managerial skills to actively monitor all activities and personnel on the jobsite.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5-10 years of relevant residential remodeling carpentry experience
• 3-5 years of lead carpenter, site supervisor, and/or project management experience
• Effective communication skills with clients, crew, subcontractors and management
• Experience managing multiple (2-4) concurrent jobs at different stages of production
• Experience running a crew, scheduling subs, and standing inspections
• Proficient with written communication, spreadsheets, construction management software and other technologies required for communication and tracking projects.
• Effective problem solving and ability to plan ahead
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of principles of sustainability and building science such as advanced framing, air sealing, water management, and weatherization techniques
• Track record of running a safe, clean, efficient job site
• Ability to lead a job site team that is cohesive, mutually respectful, and works well together
RRP & Massachusetts CSL a plus
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
