Full Job Description

The Research Resources & Acquisitions Analyst administers the firm's acquisitions and contract support functions for research resources. This position coordinates renewals, attorney surveys, invoice processing, vendor communications, and contract administration while maintaining accurate financial and acquisitions records. The Analyst supports the Manager by coordinating operational aspects of the acquisitions lifecycle and ensuring efficient execution of acquisitions processes.

This position can reside in our Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, , San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), or Washington, DC office and follows a hybrid three (3) days per week in-office working arrangement.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinates acquisitions, renewals, and cancellations for research resources.
  • Assists with preparation for procurement, privacy and information security reviews.
  • Serves as the primary contact for routine vendor communications regarding renewals, pricing, invoices, access, and account administration.
  • Resolves routine vendor issues and escalates complex matters to the Manager as appropriate.
  • Coordinates with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree (M.L.S., MLIS or equivalent). Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively manage work to high quality standards, with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the firm in a professional manner.
  • Advanced arithmetic skills (compute rate, ratio, percent; able to draw and interpret graphs and charts).
  • Ability to solve practical problems, dealing with a variety of variables where little standardization exists.

For positions in Boston, MA and Chicago, IL, the salary range for this position is: $84,200 - $134,600

For positions in Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY, the salary range for this position is: $91,500- $146,325.

For positions in San Francisco, CA and Silicon Valley, CA, the salary range for this position is: $95,160 - $152,198.

For positions in Seattle, WA and Washington, DC, the salary range for this position is: $87,800 - $140,450.

The base salary wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The foregoing salary range applies only to the specific available position advertised herein. The total compensation package for this position will also include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and policies then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in: a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, business travel accident insurance plans, and health savings and flexible spending accounts for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and policies then in effect, eligible employees may utilize the Employee Assistance Program, Work/Life Services, Health Advocate, Bright Horizons Back-Up Child Care, and WageWorks Commuter Benefits for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive: 9 paid holidays per calendar year, 2 personal days per year, and up to 20 days of vacation per year. In accordance with state applicable law, eligible employees will earn 1 paid sick leave hour for 30 hours worked. Eligible employees may also take up to five days off for bereavement leave, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave per year and up to 10 weeks of paid pregnancy disability leave per pregnancy. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
