Full Job Description
Research Pharmacist - Onsite - Lenexa, KS

Responsibilities:

• Inspects and dispenses experimental drugs for clinical trial patients.

• Reviews and edits clinical protocols, batch records / preparation records and investigational medicinal product dossier (IMPD), if applicable, by generating, collecting and analyzing trial data.

• Oversees the manufacturing aspect of the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) projects when working in a good manufacturing practice (GMP) environment.

• Serves as a resource for investigational drug-related inquiries.

• Maintains drug accountability by compiling and documenting the accurate dosage for patients.
• Advises medical staff on investigational medicinal product (IMP) (e.g. use, type and route of administration).
• Plans and evaluates IMP programs and regimens by ensuring processes, data and samples are recorded and stored properly.
• Drafts manufacturing/compounding batch records.

• Manages facility parameters to ensure CMC projects are conducted  in compliance with GMP, if applicable.

• Reads and reviews IMPDs or Investigational New Drug (IND).
