The Opportunity: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a multi year transformation of our Industry Benchmark Program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategic work, influencing future impact strategic work, and influencing impact strategic work, influencing future state processes and customer experiences.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business partners, data analysts, technology teams, and project leaders to define requirements, streamline processes, and ensure solutions align with the organization's long-term term strategic goals.

This team enables efficient and impactful research so that LIMRA and LOMA can produce timely, relevant and actionable insights for the industry and our membership. The Research Enablement team drives transformation, partnering within and across the organization to elevate our operational capabilities and member experience. Our department is known for its collaborative culture, strong partnership with business leaders, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, strategic, and scalable solutions..

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with stakeholders to deeply understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
  • Support solution design efforts by providing insight into business operations and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop detailed process maps, data flows, requirement traceability, and testing documentation.
  • Participate in cross functional working sessions, helping drive clarity, alignment, and thoughtful functional working sessions, helping drive clarity, alignment, and thoughtful decision making.
  • Contribute to testing activities, including script development, execution, and validation.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, project work, or operational roles supporting the financial services industry
  • Experience in insurance, annuities, workplace benefits, or retirement benefits a plus
  • Ability to structure ambiguous information, ask smart questions, and drive productive conversations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving capability, with attention to detail.
