- This is a hybrid position, must be able to work on campus
- Preferred consideration will be given to applicants experience with clinical trials billing including pee-authorization, claims processing, and claims denials

The Research Billing Compliance Lead will provide leadership and subject matter expertise for research billing by developing and maintaining a Research Billing Compliance program. As research grants are awarded, understand billing requirements of each, educate appropriate staff on billing requirements, and ensure compliance through audit activities, and process improvements. Responsible for research billing process and maintaining research specific billing records. Work with interdisciplinary team to resolve billing issues and optimize the system to deliver a product that makes efficient use of resources and meets the needs of researchers across the continuum.
Required Qualifications: Research Billing Compliance Lead
• Minimum of three years health care compliance experience in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and research billing compliance required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, scientific, or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Excellent time management skills required.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Independent problem solving skills and self-directed work experience required.
• Ability to lead, develop, and efficiently contribute to project teams required.
• Ability to demonstrate competent leadership skills required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to include reports, publications and professional presentations required.
Preferred Qualifications: Research Billing Compliance Lead
• Experience with clinical trials billing including preauthorization, claims processing, and claims denials strongly preferred.
• Experience with a Clinical Trials Management System preferred.
• Master's degree in business administration, healthcare, scientific, or related field preferred.
• Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), CHC, or CHPC preferred
