Position Summary

Annualdepartmental expectations for basic science research faculty:

• Submit at least2 unique manuscripts to peer-reviewed publications. At least 1 of these shouldbe submitted to a journal with a minimum impact factor of 5.0.
• Publish 1 ormore papers in a peer reviewed publication with a minimum impact factor of 5.0.
• Present atleast 1 peer-reviewed abstract at a national or international conference
• Maintain 1 ormore extramural funded grants
• Maintain salaryfunding
• Engage inand/or apply for other activities to try and supplement salary support. Forexample, leading courses for trainees, offering a new course, serving oncommittees providing FTE, etc.

Your effortdistribution for the first year of your appointment will be 0.5 FTE Researchand 0.5 Administrative. Each year, and as needed, your effort distribution willbe discussed and your FIBCI sheet modified as needed to reflect your effortdistribution. The description of the job duties associated with thisdistribution is as follows:

0.5 FTEResearch: 0.2 FTE fundedby ADRC, Imaging Core Leader and 0.3 Grantfunding, PI

0.5 FTEAdministrative: Brain ImagingResearch Center Director (BIRC), funded by HSC Office of Research

In two years,salary support for BIRC Director will be reduced to support 0.2 administrativeFTE. At that time Research FTE will increase to 0.8 (pending funding) unlessother duties have been added to your effort distribution at that time.

MinimumQualifications:

• PhD inPsychology
• Eligible towork in the U.S.
