The Opportunity:

As an IT Business Analyst, you9ll develop leading-edge applications and products. Partnering with your team of UI/UX designers, developers, testers, business analysts, and leading user experience and content specialists, you9ll identify clients9 business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You9ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you9ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you9ll deliver high-business value products to our clients.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with technology work
  • 2+ years of experience as a requirements analyst or business analyst
  • Experience leading teams and client engagements
  • Experience documenting and managing requirements in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in requirements gathering and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
  • Experience distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and QA, and presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
  • Experience conducting current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor9s degree

  • Experience with Agile frameworks, including Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, DevOps, or SAFe
  • Experience with brainstorming tools such as Mural or Miro
  • Experience working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Air Force and Space Force
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual9s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen9s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
