Reliability Technician (Fixed)

Purpose:
Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, the Fixed Reliability Technician is responsible for asset health, integrity, and reliability of fixed assets.
Responsibilities include:
- Work alongside Long-Range Planner to audit & develop detailed PM documentation to ensure reliability of fixed assets
- Provide guidance in the use of precision technologies (laser alignment, oil analysis) to Execution team members
- Maintenance elimination activities through research and implementation of the best materials for the application
- Centralize equipment manuals and documentation for fixed assets
- Site-wide fixed lubrication program adherence
- Predictive diagnostic analysis, evaluation, and recommendations
- Vibration, thermography, and ultrasonic route completion
- Create execution work orders based on PdM defect reporting
- Perform RCFA's for mechanical failures and recommend defect elimination projects
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a mining environment: ore processing crushing, grinding, gravity concentration, dewatering, leach/CIP, stripping, conveying and refining
- MLT1, VCAT1, UT, NDT, or Thermography training preferred
- Certified Journeyperson in good standing, or completed secondary education with diploma or degree in engineering or technical field preferred
- Desktop computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially-responsible manner
- Self-directed team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- The Musselwhite gold mine in northwestern Ontario is a fly-in, fly-out operations and the schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.
Compensation:
- The salary for this position is CAD $140,400.00 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
- The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee
