Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:- Set up, configure, and execute engineering test procedures, sensor instrumentation, and automated data collection pipelines according to technical documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation routines and DAQ test sequences using LabVIEW and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
- Integrate, program, and maintain robotic fixtures, actuators, and automated test stations to support repeatable life-cycle and stress testing.
- Manage hardware and software computer setups, driver installations, firmware flashing, and network configurations for lab instruments.
- Ensure lab spaces and test cells are organized, calibrated, safe, and maintained for maximum operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in internal testing across all phases of product development
- Prepare clear, structured reports, dashboards, and visualizations summarizing test results, automated telemetry, and anomaly detections.
- Author and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and automation user manuals.
QualificationsWork Experience Requirements:- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing or operating LabVIEW applications for instrument control, sensor interfacing, and automated data acquisition.
- Experience integrating, troubleshooting, or programming robotics and automation systems (e.g., robotic arms, linear actuators, PLCs, motor drivers, automated pick-and-place fixtures).
- Hands-on background executing reliability, environmental, mechanical, and stress tests (thermal chambers, vibration tables, tensile/Instron testing).
- Strong analytical mindset capable of deep-diving into unexpected test anomalies, system crashes, or sensor drift rather than purely executing repetitive routines.
- Proficiency in analyzing and summarizing large datasets using Python, MATLAB, spreadsheets, and presentation decks.
- Solid understanding of electrical/electronic instrumentation: oscilloscopes, DMMs, strain gauges, accelerometers, power supplies, and thermocouples.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and software architecture flowcharts.
- Responsible management of lab safety, equipment interlocks, fixture mounting, and ESD safe handling.
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (ME, EE, CE, etc.)

This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
