Reliability Engineer- Production Maintenance

Job Description Summary
As a Reliability Engineer, you will support maintenance operations at a high-volume grocery fulfillment and distribution center, with a primary focus on improving the performance and reliability of conveyor and sortation systems. Working across both ambient and chilled environments (down to 37°F), you will apply data-driven methodologies to identify failure trends, eliminate recurring issues, and optimize equipment lifecycle and uptime. You will collaborate closely with Maintenance Managers, technicians, and the CMMS administrator to ensure assets are maintained proactively and effectively. Leveraging tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and condition-based monitoring, you will drive initiatives that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead CMMS administrators and maintenance technicians in the prioritization, planning, and execution of work with an emphasis on reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Act as first level escalation support for the CMMS administrator for inventory control and planning/scheduling escalations during and after business hours ensuring spares and computerized maintenance management system support is available.
  • Work closely with client operations stakeholders, client engineering teams, and local or regional C&W Services leadership to address high-priority tasks affecting client operations.
  • Monitor equipment reliability metrics and partner with the operations team to prioritize work and improvements.
  • Lead the Root Cause Analysis and implementation of permanent corrective action at the site.
  • Identify opportunities to increase equipment reliability and uptime, reduce costs and associated work.
  • Handle flexible workload which may come from management or client operations partners.
  • Serve as the primary practitioner for implementation and sustainment of C&W Services' CPM program and its pillars.
  • Drive and promote safety culture within the site including subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors
  • Provide engineering guidance to technicians as needed to ensure maintenance goals are aligned with site operation's needs.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the site.
  • Develop a strong collaborative team-based environment.
  • Perform regular deep dives/data analysis to understand key focus areas for improvement across facility
  • Lead development of reliability-centered standard operating procedures and job plans to support technicians in executing maintenance tasks.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives which drive operational excellence and support the site in meeting and exceeding contract performance goals.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering or other related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Reliability Program Manager or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations
  • Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting
  • Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word, and Office
  • Relevant training in MHE, Controls Systems, PIT as well as general building operations
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with leading and delivering technical training
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as:
  • 5S
  • 5Y
  • FMEA
  • PDCA
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • DMAIC
  • Run Charts
  • Pareto Analysis


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The compensation for the position is: $ 95,200.00 - $112,000.00
