Title: Release Engineer
Technical skills and knowledge -
• Must be proficient with Source Control systems, like Git, to create and merge branches, perform audits on SCM activities, etc.
• Must be proficient with Unix (Linux), including writing and maintaining shell scripts
• Proficient with SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform post-implementation reviews and improve overall SCM process.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to code quality and static code analysis tools is a plus - SonarQube, Fortify, test coverage, etc.
• Previous experience with automated release/deployment tools is also preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Testers, Developers, DBA's, Infrastructure teams and Managers.
