Job Description:

Develops and participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities, supporting quality standards and initiatives set by the department. Coordinates regular chart audits and reviews for accurate and timely completion for the assigned area/team, including input of PI data as required, and educates the clinical team, coaching individuals to support regulatory and content compliance with clinical documentation.
Performs all duties of a Clinician as per the associated Clinicians job description based on license. Serves as a clinical resource for physicians, stakeholders, patients, and staff, escalating issues as appropriate to their leader as appropriate. Assists in daily operations, including active involvement in clinical and service rounding, develops and delivers clinical content at staff meetings, conducts staff meetings, completes management reports and Investigates, responds to complaints. Other duties as assigned. Schedules clinicians and techs to meet patient needs. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices and other stakeholders to build referral relationships and consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extensions of clinical expertise to the community. Oversees the care provided by Clinical and support staff, according to established regulations and practice standards. Interviews, hires, and orients clinical staff, completing clinical competencies and performance appraisals with new hires and each rehab staff member. Promotes evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/clinical instruction, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group.
