Registered Veterinary Technician ManagerThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RVT leader who enjoys balancing hands-on patient care with team leadership, workflow management, and staff development in a collaborative general practice environment.
In this role, you will:- Oversee daily hospital flow and help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care throughout the day
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support workflow efficiency and team success
- Support onboarding, training, and continued development of clinical support staff
- Create and manage staff schedules based on the needs of the business
- Assist the Hospital Manager with annual performance reviews and coaching conversations
- Assist with recruiting, candidate screening, and hiring support staff team members
- Help manage inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels for hospital operations
- Support veterinarians and clinical staff during outpatient appointments, surgery, and dental procedures as needed
- Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient and client care
Schedule:This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling availability required, including Saturdays, to support the needs of the hospital. Shifts are typically scheduled as 4/10s between 8am-6pm.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:- Compensation: $42-45 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2,000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:- Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
- 5+ years of veterinary clinical experience is required
- Previous Supervisor or Management experience is required
- Strong understanding of hospital workflow, patient care standards, and team delegation
- Experience training and mentoring veterinary support staff
- Comfortable navigating difficult conversations while maintaining a positive team environment
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and cystocentesis
- Placing IV catheters and administering injections
- Anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and radiographs
