Registered Psychologist

As a Psychologist at our Calgary Chinook Clinic, you will play a key role in helping individuals rebuild their lives following brain injury and other complex injuries. Working within a specialized interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will support clients as they overcome cognitive, emotional, behavioral and vocational barriers to successfully return to work and meaningful daily activities.

This role offers the opportunity to work within neurorehabilitation, mental health, and occupational recovery, providing services that create lasting impacts on clients, families, and employers.

  • You'll use your expertise to:
    • Assess and treat psychological, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors affecting recovery and return to work outcomes.
    • You'll collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, physicians, vocational rehabilitation specialists, and case managers to develop integrated rehabilitation plans.
    • Help clients navigate the often complex adjustment to life following brain injury, including changes in identity, confidence, relationships, and work capacity.
    • Support employers and stakeholders in understanding cognitive and psychological barriers that may impact successful workplace reintegration.
    • Contribute to innovative rehabilitation approaches focused on maximizing independence, quality of life, and sustainable employment outcomes.

  • You are familiar with the field of health and the psychosocial models of interdisciplinary care
