This is a "multiple-fill" job opening:

A total of four (4) (1.0 FTE), Registered Nurses will be hired to fill this job opening.

Hours & shifts are identical for both hires.

Responsibilities*

Scrub and circulate in operating rooms assigned under the clinical supervision of a Charge Nurse, Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Nursing Director as appropriate. To rotate shift and accept call as assigned by Clinical Manager/Clinical Nursing Director. To assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room.

Required Qualifications*

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
Two (2) years recent, within the last three (3) years, RN circulating and scrubbing experience within at least two of the following adult surgical services: orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, or ophthalmology.

Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population.
Call commitment with 30 minute response time.

NOTE: All applicants selected to interview will complete a one day observation in the UH OR (unpaid).

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81 / hour
  • Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
  • Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
  • Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
  • Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
  • Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
  • Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
