Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 3 years of healthcare experience, preferably in hospice or similar environments.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in leadership or management roles is a significant advantage.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse team including nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains.
• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations and standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among medical staff and care teams.
• Organize interdisciplinary meetings, documenting patient needs and care strategies.
• Develop and refine patient care policies and emergency procedures.
• Oversee staff scheduling and performance evaluations while promoting a positive work environment.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Assess quality metrics and manage a patient caseload as necessary.
• Participate in after-hours and on-call duties to provide consistent care.
• Optimize resource use and foster a collaborative workplace.
