Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality resident care while supporting and developing nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist nursing leadership with daily clinical operations and ensure quality resident care
- Supervise nursing staff and promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and support effective shift operations
- Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident care and staff performance
- Monitor medication administration and treatment procedures for accuracy and compliance
- Participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support care planning, resident assessments, and discharge coordination
- Address employee concerns and promote a positive workplace environment
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new residents and families
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical support as needed
- Assist with staff evaluations and performance improvement efforts
Qualifications:- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Minimum 3 years of nursing home experience required
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
