Overview

OSU Physicians is proud to announce the opening of our new Powell location in August, and we are currently hiring a RN to join the Surgical Specialties and Urology Clinical team at our brand new location  This role offers the opportunity to work in a newly built practice, contribute to high-quality patient care, and be part of a respected organization known for clinical excellence, education, and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, and provides a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
  • Collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient,
  • Develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes,
  • Implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient27s progress toward attainment of the outcomes,
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization.
  • Provide patient and family health education and health assessment.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing from aCCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program.
  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR/BLS certified.
  • Knowledge of triage procedures along with clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.
  • Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment.
  • Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
Pay RangeUSD $32.21 - USD $47.60 /Hr.
