Full-time RN Unit Manager to join our skilled Pediatric Nursing Team in Voorhees, NJ.
Full-time | 10 hour shifts | No WeekendsPosition Summary: The RN Unit Manager holds accountability and responsibility for the operations of their assigned area. This includes planning, development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the clinical, personnel, and administrative activities of the unit. The nurse manager participates in operationalizing the strategic and business plans and the Our VPF initiatives. This includes: human resource management, cost control, quality and safety (High Reliability Organization/Just Culture), growth and customer service (family/person centered care).
The RN Unit Manager Daily responsibilities will include:- Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care while ensuring services are individualized to the needs of pediatric residents and their families.
- Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, scheduling, and coverage to maintain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix based on resident acuity and department needs.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff through daily rounds, huddles, performance management, coaching, education, and ongoing competency development.
- Monitor clinical documentation, assessments, care plans, medication and treatment records, and electronic medical record requirements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Promote compliance with infection prevention standards, facility policies, NJDHSS requirements, Joint Commission standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and other departments to support effective communication, continuity of care, resident safety, and positive clinical outcomes.
Position Qualifications:- Current NJ RN licensure or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, specialty certification preferred
- Minimum of two years in Nursing Management/Supervisor role
- Minimum two years' pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, 10 hour shifts.
- Weekdays only, no weekends.
Compensation: $109,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year, based on 40 hours per week.
