Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) Pre- Admission Testing

Full-Time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patient from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. Monitors vital signs making necessary interventions as prescribed, within scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist. May also assist in transport of patients to outpatient Surgery and surgical floors. Assists with monitor of IV sedation and localcases in the Operating Room. Able to provide competent care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through geriatric.

Position Description:

Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or Assistant Director and Charge Nurse, responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

One year prior OR experience preferred.

Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required..

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.

N.O.R. preferred.

Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
