Responsibilities PACU RNPerforms initial assessments appropriate to patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner. Identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, desire for care and responses to any previous care. Initiates discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate
Qualifications - One (1) year experience in a critical care setting in an acute care facility
- Previous PACU experience preferred
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- BLS & ACLS (AHA) certification
- PALS certification preferred
