Registered Nurse

Department: Nursing Resource Pool

Location: Chelsea hospital

Pay: $45.77-51.53 per hour based upon licensed nursing experience + applicable shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and weekends)

The Nursing Resource Pooloffers you increased flexibility in your scheduling, while allowing you to float only at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. We support our employees with a focused orientation and training about our equipment, processes and procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units, which means more manageable patient ratios. For all these reasons and more, Float Pool colleagues are treated as highly valued team members here at Trinity Health Michigan. In the Nursing Resource Pool you could float to any of the units listed below:

• Atrium East (Med/Surg)
• Atrium West & Courtyard Rehab (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
• Courtyard East (Med/Surg)

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Shift Available: 7pm-7:30am

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period 6 every two weeks)

Every 3rd Weekend and holiday requirements

Required Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• One year of recent medical-surgical or higher acuity level nursing experience
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• Canadian Nurse are encouraged to apply
