Full Job Description
What You'll Do

As an RN, you will be providing on-site nursing and attendant care to our residents. You'll ensure their health and well-being while working in alignment with the mission and core values of Newport Healthcare. Plus, enjoy a shift differential for your late-night dedication!

SHIFT: AM or PM 12 hour shift with every other weekend

What You'll Do:
  • Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
  • Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
  • Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborating with BHS regarding medication management and refills.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state applying for work.
  • Experience in residential nursing a plus.

    • Must pass the applicable state/agency background check required for the work location jurisdiction, prior to employment.
    • Pre-employment drug screening.
    • Must possess a current and valid CPR certification or obtain within the first 30 days of employment.

**Pay range for this position is $39 to $58 depending on education and experience.
