ABOUT THE ROLE:The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL...- Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
- Administer direct care as necessary.
- Give and receive shift reports.
- Round and assure that proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition.
- Assist in developing comprehensive care plans
- Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
- Respond to resident emergency call system.
- Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
- Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
- Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU...- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) a plus.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
