Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • Nightshift 7p-7a, three 12 hr shifts per week
  • 2 weekends per six-week schedule
  • holiday rotation

Pay Range:

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

LCH 8P Progressive Care Unit: The 8th floor is considered the step-down unit from the PICU/CVICU. They are a 24- bed pediatric progressive care unit that typically has a patient to nurse ratio of 3:1. All of the cardiac and nephrology children are to be admitted to this floor,along with any child that is considered progressive. This unit also cares for kidney, heart and liver transplant patients. Progressive care is initiated when patients require more frequent monitoring or increased nursing care needs.

Expectations We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
  • At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
