How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Oversees daily operations of the Emergency Department and Behavioral Health services
  • Directs clinical programs, workflow, staffing, and departmental administration
  • Ensures high‑quality, safe, and compliant patient care across all age groups
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards

  • Ensures regulatory compliance, readiness, and adherence to hospital and accrediting body standards

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room or Behavioral Health experience
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership or management experience
  • BLS certification required (or obtained within first week of hire)
  • ACLS and PALS required
  • TNCC required within 12 months of hire
  • Handle With Care certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Strong critical‑thinking skills and ability to lead under pressure
