How you’ll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Oversees daily operations of the Emergency Department and Behavioral Health services
- Directs clinical programs, workflow, staffing, and departmental administration
- Ensures high‑quality, safe, and compliant patient care across all age groups
- Develops, implements, and evaluates departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Provides clinical consultation and support to ensure optimal patient flow and care delivery
- Mentors, coaches, and develops staff, including charge nurses and preceptors
- Ensures regulatory compliance, readiness, and adherence to hospital and accrediting body standards
- Leads departmental budgeting, productivity monitoring, and resource management
- Collaborates with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
- Evaluates patient care outcomes and drives continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for — a decisive, collaborative nursing leader with deep emergency care expertise.
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room or Behavioral Health experience
- Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership or management experience
- BLS certification required (or obtained within first week of hire)
- ACLS and PALS required
- TNCC required within 12 months of hire
- Handle With Care certification required within 6 months of hire
- Strong critical‑thinking skills and ability to lead under pressure
