  • 10-hour shifts, a combination of 4 weekdays M-F (assumed to be 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
  • 12-hour shifts, a combination of 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day (assumed to be 6:30AM - 7PM).


Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Specialist III provides professional care in the SHVI Invasive Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

The CMC EP Team currently needs candidates with experience in procedural or OR, and /or cardiac. This is a fast-paced environment with a very supportive team who works together to ensure successful care for patients. If you have experience in Endoscopy, EP, Cath Lab, Cardiac, Interventional Radiology, Operating Room (OR), or any other procedural areas and enjoy fast paced, apply today!!

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates evidence-based practice and performs care for the comfort and wellbeing of the patient.
  • Performs and/or assists with treatments, therapies, and procedures(including scrub assistant, monitoring and circulating) under the direction of the physician.
  • Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician, as appropriate
  • Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record.
  • Conveys relevant information to physicians and teammates.
  • Calculates, interprets and analyzes data.
  • Assists in development of policies, procedures and standards of care reflective of current practice/literature.
  • Highly Recommended to participate in committee and governance activities.


Education, Experience and Certifications

Satisfactory completion of high school and an accredited program of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or related field required. Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electrophysiology Specialist training or experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Technology program, such as Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable. Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
