Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic medical data management.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for up to five hours and lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Support and monitor occupational health programs by providing care and coordination of health services.
  • Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician.
  • Provide accurate medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
  • Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance.
  • Provide first aid care and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, coordinating follow-up care as necessary.
  • Perform phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
  • Evaluate and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries under established protocols.

Schedule & Pay:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm
  • Pay Range: $38 - $42hr

What You'll Do:
  • Support & Monitor Occupational Health Programs • Provide care, oversight, and coordination of a wide range of occupational health services.
  • Health Promotion & Education • Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician.
  • Medical Reporting & Compliance • Provide accurate, well-documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
  • Health Assessments & Surveillance • Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance.
  • First Aid & Injury Case Management • Provide first aid care, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, and coordinate follow-up care per protocol.
  • Clinical Expertise • Perform phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
  • Occupational Illness & Injury Consultation • Work under established protocols to evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries.

What We're Looking For:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
