  • weekend and holiday requirements.


Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

LCH 5 Observation is 16 beds and has a mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients. Most of our patients are surgical or procedural and are here for 48-72 hours. Our surgical patients are usually children who have had an appendectomy, cleft lip or palate repair, cardiac catheterization, and biopsies. We have a true array of post-surgical diagnosis. We also care for children requiring special testing such as FPIES studies, fasting glucose testing, and water deprivation studies.

Expectations We're Looking For:
  • 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.


What You'll Do:
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

At 259 beds, LCH is the largest children's hospital between Atlanta and Washington DC.
