Pay Range:$38.20 - $57.30
Where You Will Work: LCH 5 Observation is 16 beds and has a mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients. Most of our patients are surgical or procedural and are here for 48-72 hours. Our surgical patients are usually children who have had an appendectomy, cleft lip or palate repair, cardiac catheterization, and biopsies. We have a true array of post-surgical diagnosis. We also care for children requiring special testing such as FPIES studies, fasting glucose testing, and water deprivation studies.
Expectations We're Looking For: - 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
What You'll Do: • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
