Job Highlights:- Location: Spanaway, WA
- Position: School Nurse (RN-BSN)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Start Date: ASAP for the entire 26-27 school year
Responsibilities:- Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPs
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Communicate with families regarding student health needs
- Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and administrators
- Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings when appropriate
- Support health education and wellness initiatives
- Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
- Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings as needed
Qualifications:- Valid Washington State RN license (DOH)
- School Nursing ESA or eligibility required (must have BSN to apply for ESA)
- BSN required
- Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
