Position Details- Schedule: 1.0FTE- 4 10hour shifts
- Location: Lakeville - MNGI Digestive Health
- Salary Range: Starting range $40.39 - $46.45/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)

Key Responsibilities- Record patients' medical history and assessment.
- Start IV/saline lock.
- Perform INR and glucose testing.
- Prepare patients for and assist physician in endoscopy procedures.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in the electronic health record.
- Recovery of sedated patients and discharge assessments.
- Utilize proper infection control techniques.
- Monitor all aspects of patient care, anticipate patient and physician needs.
- Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education and disease prevention.
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
- Infusion and injection administration
- Esophageal Motility/PH testing
- ARM/Biofeedback
- InterSTIM wire placement and removal
- Assist with BRAVO Capsule placement
- Capsule studies
- Maintain supplies by keeping supplies stock for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed
- On-Call Prep RN (Vadnais Heights Endoscopy Site)
- Responding to patient calls while on call (evening, weekend or holiday)
- At our Vadnais Heights, Lakeville, Northeast Minneapolis and Maple Grove Endoscopy Sites:
- Admission, recovery, and procedural care of pediatric patients
- All RNs at the Northeast Minneapolis location will be expected to care for pediatric patients
- Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- One to two years of clinical experience is preferred.
- GI related experience is preferred.
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record is required.
- PACU experience preferred
Certifications/Licenses:- Current Minnesota Nursing License is required.
- Must be BLS certified.
- Pediatric sites require PALS certification for Charge Nurses.
