As the Registered Nurse Supervisor, you are essential in our skilled nursing facility, providing expert clinical oversight while guiding and supporting the care team to meet each resident's unique needs. Through attentive monitoring and compassionate care, the RN helps ensure better health outcomes and a safe, nurturing environment.
In This Role You Will:- Provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of residents' health status, documenting observations, and communicating findings to the healthcare team
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and ensuring accuracy and safety
- Monitors residents' vital signs and response to treatments, promptly reports any changes or concerns to the physician and/or director of nursing
- Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to the residents' unique needs and preferences
- Provides health education and support to residents and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and facilitating access to resources and supporting services.
- Fosters a positive and supportive environment for residents, promoting independence, dignity, and respect while ensuring their safety and well-being and in adherence with Resident Rights
- Maintains accurate and current medical records and documentation, adhering to state and federal regulatory standards
- Serves as a resource and mentor to nursing staff and other team members, providing guidance, support, and clinical expertise as needed
- Adheres to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice, demonstrating integrity, empathy, and commitment to excellence in care delivery.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Shift Details:- Fulltime night (7p-730a), every other weekend and some holidays
- PRN Days (7a-730p) Nights (7p-730a), minimum requirements 3 shifts per month
Who You Are:- Must have an Active, RN license in the State of Ohio, or compact license
- Prior experience as RN Supervisor, or Charge Nurse 2-3 years
- A compassionate team player and have passion to work with the elderly!
