Job Summary:
"¢ Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
"¢ Monitor patient progress and provide education and support to expectant mothers
"¢ Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities:
"¢ Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients
"¢ Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor
"¢ Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed
"¢ Assist with labor procedures and deliveries, including high-risk cases
"¢ Provide postpartum care and education to patients and their families
"¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
"¢ Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:
"¢ 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in nursing
"¢ Graduate of an accredited nursing program
"¢ Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
"¢ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
"¢ Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Qualifications:
"¢ Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
"¢ Over 5 years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last 2 years) in Labor and Delivery
"¢ 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years
"¢ High-risk OB experience

Certifications:
"¢ Registered Nurse License (active and in good standing)
"¢ Basic Life Support (BLS)
"¢ Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
